I have made these cooking knives recently for Klaus. The gyuto is san-mai with iron and sc145 core, the Petty is full steel sc145. Both are mounted with  fusioned and patinated silver ferrule and black brushed bog oak. 
Well, Klaus send the picture to show me how pleased he is with the way his knives work and perform. I am very happy because it was one of my most challenging work this year. The geometry was quite specific as well as the expectations on the cutting power. However, this time I succeeded it seems. Klaus Keller
