Black Hunter is a hunting related knife. His primary use is for venison that has been already freed from bones and skin. My customers brief was all about thin blade, sharp aggressive edge, ease of sharpening and look. The handle material was requested to be brushed bog oak, as well as the ferrule to be forged ready mildsteel. The sheath was desired to be worn cross on his belt like a single action revolver.

Golden Gidgee is a Sujihiki type cooking knife. It has a 300x50mm blade of sanmai construction with a UHC damascus core and two different softer damascus jacket. The 150mm handle is of ringed Gidgee graciously put to my disposition by curlytimbers.com. The scabbard is of the same wood. the ferrule is made of 750 Au and finished with a fine swissmade single cut file. The commission was given to me in 2018 and was completed in May 2018....
